Fern spores ignite.  

I traveled to New Zealand on the Matt Jarvis Travel Grant. I wished to explore the ecological and ethical impacts of pest eradication happening in New Zealand.  New Zealand has no native land mammals, thus the introduced pests do not have any predators to keep them in check.  Pests are in huge numbers and destroying the ecosystem so eradication efforts have been deployed.
